Golf Tournament Opens to Welcome ABAC Members |

To offer a good chance for entrepreneurs and members of APEC Business
Advisory Council (ABAC) to exchange views, relax and partly contribute
to the business development in Vietnam, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce
and Industry (VCCI) will host ABAC Golf tournament – Vietnam 2006 at
Kings’ Island Golf course, Ha Tay province on November 13.
The tournament is scheduled to receive 72 players
who are ABAC participants, V.I.Ps from Vietnam and business peoplefrom
leading corporations and groupsin Vietnam. The scoring format is
Callaway and ten prizes will be presented to winners. Bangkok Bank in
Vietnam solely sponsors for this event.
VCCI has been assigned by the Government of Vietnam to organize APEC CEO Summit and 4th Meeting of APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) on November 13-19, 2006 in Hanoi.
Overview of Kings’ Island Golf
Situated
in Ha Tay province, Viet Nam, Kings’ Island Golf is an international
standard golf club located 36 km. west of Hanoi, and 45 km. from Noi
Bai International Airport. The club is located in the Kings’ Valley on
350 hectares along the shores of Dong Mo Lake. Access to the course is
by boat.
Kings’ Island will have two 18-hole courses. The
Lakeside Course opened in 1993. When the Mountainview Course opened in
Oct - 2004, Kings’ Island is the first 36 hole facility in northern
Viet Nam, including an air-conditioned clubhouse & restaurant,
driving range, pro-shop, putting greens & sand bunker. Future
developments include a new clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis courts,
sauna, guest villas, and boat dock.
